Stevens Point is located in the heart of central Wisconsin at the intersections of Interstate 39 and Highway 10. It’s a college town and the county seat of Portage County with a metropolitan population of about 70,000.

- Stevens Point is two hours from Madison and Milwaukee. Lambeau Field, Home of the Green Bay Packers, and Packer Hall of Fame are 2 1/2 hours east.
- Home of the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, which has a small history museum, planetarium, the Schmeeckle Reserve Nature Center, the Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame and many local, university and guest theatrical and musical arts performances.
